Dr. Schenk develops special testing and inspection equipment, both for the in-line quality assurance and process
control, as well as for the off-line measurement of all relevant physical properties of optical media, masters,
and stampers. Throughout the manufacturing process of prerecorded, recordable, and rewritable media,
Dr. Schenk scanners inspect for local defects and irregularities, and measure mechanical and optical characteristics.
