The scanner’s unique optical design and the precise analysis software for surface inspection and disc property measurements have convinced Ritek in the BD-R and BD-RE areas. After successful prototype tests of the Dr. Schenk scanners in direct comparison with competitor products, Ritek has ordered multiple ISM.blue+ systems which are currently integrated into the production lines at their manufacturing site in Taiwan. With the start of the mass production of Schenk-monitored blu-ray discs the storage media expert now feels absolutely confident to meet the strict quality standards of blu-ray disc production at an optimized yield.
