From March 19^th till 21^st of May 2010, the international optical media equipment community once again gathered for the MEDIA-TECH 2010 Global Expo and Summit in Frankfurt, Germany. At the show booth, Dr. Schenk successfully presented their inspection and measurement solutions for CD, DVD and BD formats and could establish a number of new contacts and lead interesting discussions with existing customers and decision makers in the industry.

By maintaining these strong links with manufacturers, replicators and production line suppliers, the pioneer in optical media inspection is always one step ahead of the technology trends. For now 25 years of its existence, Dr. Schenk has been able to already offer reliable inspection solutions ready to ship even before new emerging formats have established. The development of systems from the “.blue series” of Schenk’s in-line and off-line solutions ISM and PROmeteus has, for example, started long before the official market entry of the BD-disc. It is therefore not surprising, that Schenk’s systems, of course, also meet the requirements for the new technology “Blu-ray 3D^TM”.

Dr. Schenk’s invited customers, visitors and exhibitors to join in the 25^th anniversary celebrations at the booth. Many of the show participants answered questions about the company in an online game and could win one out of 25 adidas “Jabulani” soccer balls (“Jabulani” means “celebrate” in Zulu language).
