Liquid Crystal Module Inspection

Dr. Schenk's GlassInspect for Liquid Crystal Module (LCM) inspection is an in-line inspection solution for quality assurance and process control for manufacturing of LCMs. Although glass panels for LCMs are inspected in previous production steps, the panels are checked again as a final quality control step when produced for high end applications.

GlassInspect for LCM inspection is used for local defect detection, including for example:

  • Scratch defects
  • Dent defects
  • Bubble defects
  • Inclusion defects
  • Lamination defects
  • Finger print defects
  • Edge chip defects

GlassInspect for liquid crystal module inspection uses Dr. Schenk’s unique MIDA Technology so one defect generates multiple images to deliver the most comprehensive material analysis on the market.
